About Monroe

“Artistic. Fun-loving. Nerdy to a fault”. Those are a few ways to describe myself. My name is Phillip, Monroe is my artful alias, and I’m based in Denver, Colorado. I’ve always had the artistic kick since I was a child; always finding things I wanted to create whether it was drawing or crafting. I began the camera trek circa 2014. At that time, I didn’t fully have a focus, I was passing time having fun; random moments of free-time with friends. Over time a spark lit and photography became a tremendous means of artistic expression for myself and I’ve built the confidence needed to extend my creativity with others in a more professional setting. I love being able to share this art-form with others and work together to figure out how to combine our creative energy. This process leads to the greatest feeling in creating something unique and wonderful that feels 100% you.
